Centurion: To build student accommodation in Australia. Centurion Corporation is set to make its foray into the student accommodation business after it emerged as the successful bidder for the construction of RMIT Village and an adjoining car-park building for A$60m (S$68.7m).
Noble: Top metals trader resigns from Noble Singapore. The head of Noble Group’s base metal operations in Singapore, Rene van der Kam, has resigned in the past week, according to sources.
OCBC: Divests stake in Vietnam’s VPBank. OCBC has sold all its 85.83m (14.88%) shares in VPBank, a Vietnamese partly private lender to Vietnamese investors, according to a statement issued by VPBank, which did not give any value or reasons for OCBC’s move.
Oxley: Signs JV to develop Malaysian project. Oxley Holdings (Oxley) has signed a JV with Peninsular Teamwork Sdn Bhd to develop a 15.28 acre plot of freehold land in Bandar Ulu Kelang in Daerah Gombak in Selangor.
