SATS has two major business divisions, namely, Food Solutions and Gateway Services. The first division covers airline catering, food distribution, industrial catering, and other services. Meanwhile, Gateway Solutions provides ground handling services for passengers, flights, and cargo.

1Q earnings for its financial year ending 31 March 2017 (FY16/17)
SATS’s revenue rose by 1.8% year-on-year to $424.2 million
Net profit increasing by 29.2% from $49.6 million a year ago to $64.1 million

Group revenue for the 3Q ended Dec was comparable to a year ago at $440.9 million.
Revenue from Food Solutions declined 1.8% to $246.4 million but revenue from Gateway Services grew 2.2% to $193 million.
3Q earnings of $65.1 million, 7.4% higher than a year ago. This came on the back of a 7% rise in operating profit to $66.7 million.
For the nine months ended Dec, earnings rose 12.6% to $191.3 million.
