Jumbo Seafood Chilli Crab, Chart with Support and Resistance

Jumbo Group began with the inception of JUMBO Seafood, a Singapore-style seafood restaurant, in 1987. Best known for its chilli and black pepper crabs, the company has evolved over the years and now offers multiple diverse Asian dining experiences, serving more than 6,000 diners daily. From a single seafood restaurant, the company has grown to over 20 restaurants in Singapore, China and Japan.

3Q earnings increase by double to $3.4 million from $1.7 million a year ago.

Revenue increased 11.4% to $136.8 million due mainly to revenue contributions from the group's two new Jumbo Seafood outlets in Shanghai, China, as well as an overall increase in revenue from the rest of the group's restaurants.
FY16 earnings rose 46.3% to $15.5 million from $10.6 million a year ago due to higher gross profit and share of results of associates.

Earnings of $2.6 million for the first quarter ended Dec 31, up 26.1% from $2.1 million a year ago on higher revenue.
Revenue rose 5.8% to $32.7 million from $30.9 million in the previous quarter, mainly due to increased revenue contributions from the group's Jumbo Seafood outlets in Shanghai, China.
Due to higher gross margins from the Shanghai operations, gross profit increased accordingly by 8.1% to $21 million in 1Q17, such that gross profit margin for the quarter was 64.2% compared to 62.9% in the same quarter a year ago.
